Former Medford mayor backs out of Senate endorsement

Dan Kaiser
MEDFORD — Former Medford Mayor Dan Kaiser has had second thoughts after he announced that he will seek the Republican endorsement in an upcoming special election to fill the District 26 seat vacated by Sen. Dick Day.

Kaiser announced Tuesday that he will not seek the vacated seat.

Kaiser previously announced in July his candidacy for the Minnesota House of Representatives. The House District 26B seat is currently held by Rep. Patti Fritz, DFL-Faribault.
